Transforming Lives Through Lived Experience
Empowering Successful Reentry with Compassion, Understanding, and Real-World Insight
Restoring Citizens, founded in 2017 by individuals with lived experience in prison and gang lifestyles, was created to address the unmet need for reentry services in San Diego. The organization’s unique approach is rooted in firsthand understanding and compassion for those transitioning from incarceration to society. By leveraging their personal journeys, the team helps clients break cycles of violence, navigate challenges, and achieve successful reintegration into their communities.
